Chaos. That was what most easily explained what was going on at the moment. Not many words beside chaos could encompass the amount of bullet holes in the walls, floor and furniture of the large casino, Chaos what the best word to use when describing the corpses of men in suits and guns in hand, or the poor showgirls and unlucky gamblers that had been caught in the crossfire of this chaotic miniature war that was taking place inside the casino. But Chaos did not only encompass the visual aspect of what was going on, also the audio-wise aspect of the scene was best described as chaotic. Screams from fleeing employees and guests alike were heard; the sounds of people dying and shrieking in agony, as they lay on the ground in terrible pain all build up an almost deafening, chaotic ruckus.
Luigi Falcone was hiding behind a roulette table, cowering from the gunfire screeching past him. He knew who had attacked the Falcone’s casino, but it made no sense why Bane and the Penguin’s people would work together against the Falcone mob. The Falcone’s was the Penguins allies! But he had to worry about that some other time, right now, he had to survive. Luigi rolled sideways from his hiding place, shooting at the men whom had already killed his cousin and brother in law. As the three men fell, dead as a rock, Luigi thought about how he wasn’t looking forward to tell Mona her husband was dead. Luigi looked around as he sighed. At least the Falcone’s would hear of this, several messengers had already been sent, so this transgression wouldn’t go unpunished. As Luigi turned to leave the room, a couple of loud gunshots were heard and Luigi stopped. He wanted to move, but his body didn’t respond as he slowly fell towards the wall, Luigi looked at his chest where two large red blotches were spreading. Luigi hit the ground, and his last thought before everything turned dark were, “I’m sorry Mona..I won’t see the kids grow up..don’t let them become fools like their uncle..”
Benny Hopkins looked down at the dead Falcone guy, resting against the wall. He didn’t feel too good about shooting the guy in the back, and when he mumbled something about kids, Benny had a hard time keeping his lunch in his stomach. Benny was wearing what everyone knew was the Penguin’s goons style of clothes. Only problem was, he knew he and the others dressed, as the Penguin didn’t work for him. Him and his group had been called group twenty by their boss whoever that was. He hadn’t cared too much though, as he paid was pretty dammed well. But now, now he did care. Who the fuck would pay for a massacre like this? Who the flying sock-monkey would want a whole casino filled with mobsters killed? Benny had no idea, but he knew this was going to stir up some pretty heavy stuff; this was serious and big, and very bloody dangerous. Benny realized just how fucked he were, as he was in the position of that very unlucky pawn, who realizes he is a pawn and exactly how expendable he actually is. Benny then did what all reasonable men, or at least those with some reason, would do in such a situation. He started to run like the devil was on his heels, which, in some way, could be a pretty correct comparison, as he slammed open, the front doors to the casino, running outside and away from the chaos inside.
