He had traveled undetected from Ra's al Ghul's hidden fortress to what he called his home underneath his home. The low lights gave the cave an eerie feeling and it matched his mood. Nothing felt the same, the car shone like a black diamond felt alien to him, the trophies and uniforms displayed proudly seemed to be from another life. Bruce didn't take long to dwell. He knew the cave would alert Alfred of a visitor underneath Wayne Manor, so his first act was to seal the access ways to everyone but himself. The second he blocked the entrances, the computer read that an attempt to enter was being made from the Manor. He was certain it was Alfred, but the way was denied. Bruce's next step was to erase all access to the computer mainframe from everyone but himself. The Justice League and his partners in Gotham would no longer be able to tap into the vast resources of the computer. He triggered his fail safe, a boomerang virus that infected any who tried to break through any firewalls. He was sure Alfred would be quick on the phone to contact Dick and Tim. Eventually someone would be forcing their way into the cave, but he'd be long gone. He went to the vault and opened it. The empty cowl glared down at him, and he glared back. He traced his fingers over the emblem on the chest and growled. "No." He turned from his legacy and gathered equipment; his utility belt, a kevlar suit for protection, boots gloves, a laptop and glove links to the computer, and a tattered black cloak he had found on a case he had been working before his plane crash. He had a safe house that was only known to him. That would be his cave now.....he smirked at the irony of it's location. He felt like a ghost in this cave. It was only appropriate the hideout was in the Gotham Cemetary. He climbed on a bike and yanked out it's transponder and fired it up speeding out of the cave. The previous nights events had kept her from sleeping soundly. The minute she closed her eyes the encounter played over...and over again, making it impossible for her to clear her mind. Everything about that fight didn't sit well with her. She felt uneasy and she hated that feeling. Her suspicions, they haunted her and she could not let them do so. She had to prove it...one way or another...
Her first thought was to contact one of the Bat-brats...but, she never really got along well with the kiddies. As far as she knew, they didn't think well enough of her to share any information, even if they had it. She was fine with that in most circumstances...Besides, it had been quite a while since she had any contact with any of them to begin with and she had lost her one connection to the Bat-line during a fight, not that she had been contacted through it since...well...
It was looking like her best option at the moment was to head to the source. IF she was correct....if her suspicions were even remotely true, she may find some answers there. In going there she had two options - walk up to the front door and assume Alfred would let her in or go in the old fashioned way. She opted for the latter.
She had, in her career, been to Wayne Manor in many different capacities. She knew the layout well enough...and the security...the security was always a welcomed and exciting challenge. Being on the property had nearly always brought a thrill of one kind or another.
She knew there were several access points to the cave, but only herself knew of the locations of 3. The first being accessed from within the manor itself. She was opting out of that one. Too much hassle. Instead she headed to the entrance she was most familiar with, which was actually located on the outskirts of the Wayne property.
What she thought she'd find, once in the Cave, she wasn't sure. What she was looking for...that was to be determined. But if for some reason, her suspicion was true...she was confident there would be some shred of proof there.
She found the access point and attempted to enter.

The sensors alerted him that the cave had an intruder, and he was soon on his way to intercept. He wasn't sure how far in they would get before he made it there. He was sure he had sealed all the entrances, but it was a natural cave so there were probably some he wasn't aware of. It was a flaw that he would have to correct and soon.
He also wondered who it was. Did Alfred finally find a way in or did he contact one of the BatClan? In the back of his head though he knew who.
Selina.
The previous encounter no doubt lit her curiosity streak ablaze, and she was seeking answers. It was one of her traits he deeply admired. She could make an incredible detective.
There was an excited laugh in his head as its voice was giddy with its own curiosity....
"Sooooo, what we gonna do? Spin her around by her tail, shave her, or just plain put her out of our misery, hmmm? I opt for the crowbar approach myself. It's so.......hands....ON. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!"
"I don't know yet, but she's going to know the truth when she gets in there."
"'n dat's why we gotta off da broad, Dummy! She's collateral damage. just rip out th' ol' Tommy and cut 'er in half!"
"She could help us, too." "Wauk! Wauk! I concur. She does have a wide assortment of.....qualifications that could be an asset to our join venture.....I say take her back to the hideout, have an...intimate discussion with her, and determine our joint mutual benefits."
He furrowed his brow and fought to push them away as he continued his approach.

It was as she remembered. Dark, damp and a long walk. Although feeling like a rat in the sewer, she knew this would be the best option. She had a ways to maneuver before hitting the actual cave.
She had to watch her footing, for numerous reasons. Water dripped from the roof ceiling leaving various puddles along the stony passage. It was left au natural so the pathway itself made for hard terrain.
If she was lucky, she'd make it to the cave without incident...and if she was even luckier, she would remain undetected.
Her intense curiosity and urge for any insight drove her as she continued...she was anxious. It wouldn't be long...

He'd made it in and perched in the ceiling keeping an eye open for her, not entirely sure how this would go or what he would even do. He didn't want help, but he didn't want interference either. He regretting dropping down after hearing Stormy's scream in the alley. It was a mistake and it was ballooning.
All that mattered was the crusade he determined, and he could not allow anyone to get in his way no matter the cost. He looked over the cave in general. No one else had gotten in without his detection yet. It still surprised him as he wondered if they were even still around....or dead themselves.
He decided while he was here, he'd some more supplies as well. He was low on bandages, and needed some of his blood analysis equipment. in the meantime he remained in the shadows and waited.

She saw the opening in the distance. It was a tight squeeze, but not a problem. As she approached it, she peered through before making her way into the cave proper. It looked deserted...not that ever looked particularly homey. From her vantage point...she saw nothing...nothing but a place collecting dust...
She slithered through the opening and stood, her eyes searching her surroundings before taking further steps in. It was eerily quiet...
If she was correct, checking the vault would be a waste of time...she started moving in the direction of the computer. It's there she's get answers...How they would survive without their toys..she often wondered. She had limited access...very limited. It was understandable and she wasn't offended...she was actually grateful. The more she knew...the more she had access to...the more she was a threat...to them and herself. Regardless, it was at that console that she knew she'd be able to answer at least some of her questions....

He cursed under his breath as he had left the computer on and it was running possible tactical schematics on his first planned event, the bombing of Arkham Asylum. The monitors blinked quickly as it ran various scenarios. Others listed the current inmates at Arkham. One listed information about Stormy. While Selina wouldn't be able to get into the computer what she needed to know was lit up before her.
He growled and descended lower, his voice bouncing off the walls of the cave would make it hard for her to pinpoint his location, but her experience in the city would make it easier for her than the normal person.
"You are not welcome here. Leave now before this gets out of hand."
A shocked chuckled came to his head... "BEFORE??? She's in the nerve center! She's about to find out your plans.....your secrets. Only one thing to do. The question is how. I've always been fond of the pez dispenser approach myself. Have any piano wire in that belt Batsy?"
He ignored the voice but kept moving around in the shadows. "You have no business in this cave. I will forget I saw you if you go."

What was happening in front of her...on that screen...it amplified her anxiousness. Schematics of Arkham...plans...drastic plans....and then the kid...She had no doubt opened a Pandora's Box she never ever wanted to. Could she be sure of her suspicions? She didn't want to be. This was madness...and if she was right, that means so was he.
Then...the voice. It came echoing throughout the cave like the voice of God...or the Devil. She turned from the computer and lifted her eyes - searching the shadows as she replied.
She took a strong stance and laid her hand upon the handle of her whip. She was not about to leave...and if it was him..crazy or not...he should know that.
"Strong words from a fellow intruder. As far as I'm concerned, I've more business here than you. Or am I wrong?"

He moved swiftly from behind her, she could hear the cloth flapping in the wind of the movement, but the voice came from elsewhere soon afterwards.
"I'm here to finish the job, and none will obstruct me. Do you understand what that means?"
She could see the red glowing eyes in the shadows and just as quickly, they were gone, and his voice echoed from elsewhere.
"You come for answers. You have them. You stand in the way, you will suffer as the others will. I will not hesitate. This must be finished now."
Then as if a whisper in her ear... "So many deaths at their hands. Gotham is falling. They are stopped to only return."
Then from above. "No more. It's OVER!"
The last word's echo lingered as he emerged from the shadow, although his appearance was so dark he seemed a shadow unto himself.
"This is your last chance. Leave...or suffer."

She remained solid in her position though within herself she was all over the place. She got her answer...and part of her wished she hadn't. That was usually the case.
She had seen him on the brink before but this was different. Something had happened. Something big. Something not easily corrected. She'd been able to help bring him out of a rage once or twice before, but knew this time..this time would be harder and maybe not even possible. Was it worth it? She knew what he was planning...she could leave...go and tell the BAt-Family. She had the opening to go. It would be better for her to go. GO Selina...GO.
Honestly, seeing those bastards get blown sky high wasn't something she had ever thought a bad thing. But he did...what separated him from them was that very fact. It was admirable...
It was in her best interest to leave, but she couldn't stop herself from speaking. She'd regret it later, she knew...but at the moment....at the moment that was all it seemed her body wanted to do.
"If I leave...I'm no better than they are."

He narrowed his eyes and simply tapped his wrist. The entire cave went pitch black. He activated his night vision and was on the move deciding on a flanking attack. Firing his grapple he lifted himself high enough to achieve a good arc in his swing and would then let go of the line propelling himself at her.
The flapping of his cloak might give his location somewhat away but he hoped the sudden shock of the darkness would throw her off a little. Right before impact he would let loose a feral roar and it would begin.
In the back of his head though he knew 2 things: he really didn't want to cause her harm like this, and he would probably end up needing help on this crusade. The voices assured him he had all the help he needed.

Sometimes...sometimes she wished she WAS like the others. It would make things much clearer. Whatever morality she had was the one thing that got her into the most trouble. Damn it all.
She knew this would not be easy and she knew she could handle it if she kept her mind clear. Last time he got the better of her because of the shock...not this time...no...
In an instant she found herself in complete darkness. Damn it! She heard the movement rushing towards her and knew her dodge time was limited. SHe braced herself for the hit, preparing her mind for the following tactics. She was her strongest in close distance...
With claws drawn she felt the rush of wind and took the hit full on, but upon contact attached her claws hoping she made contact letting out her own feral roar.

*Idiot!* He screamed feeling her claws pass through the kevlar like a knife through butter and into him. the burn woke him up a bit, realizing he played more into her hands than his brute attack did for him. He needed to get separated from her as she ripped him apart. When he got his supplies, he was going to need extra bandages now.
He grabbed his taser and activated it taking a jab at her as those claws had a field day. He could feel the blood flowing freely and he had to be careful before he blacked out. He started thinking about a retreat.
If the taser didn't work he had one other attack to push her away but it would be painful to both of them, but he was finding himself desperate.
"Get away from me!" The growl that accompanied it was full of the pain of her physical attack.

She had hit her mark..good. She had to get the chance to activate her night vision in her goggles...it would make things superbly easier. Luckily for her, she was able to notice his movement to the taser and released her grasp with a mighty push in an attempt to throw him. She barely missed the electric shock...there was no way she'd let THAT happen again.
As soon as her claws were free, she activated her goggles and took stance again, releasing her whip with a mighty crack.
There was no way...no way she'd let herself be taken down so easily again...and there was no way she wasn't leaving without more answers...

He backed up a bit getting more distance between them. She had her night vision working, but he had a card to play against that hurling an obscene handful of smoke pellets to obstruct her view.
he then launched himself upwards again and hid for a moment checking his wounds. She was good with her attacks. Grant taught her well. She luckily avoided major arteries, so he'd live. His checklist of the contents ran through his belt. Up close was her advantage, distance would have to be his. He grabbed his line and swung to another point in the roof. As he did so he unloaded a barrage of shurikens at her. He aimed for certain nerve centers in an attempt to disable her for a period of time, at least long enough to get what he needed and get out. She knew his plans but she still couldn't cut off his computer link up.
He landed at his other vantage point and scanned the cave. He smirked and made his way to the trophy room that held an assortment of useable weapons.
