The steady rumbling of a car was evident at the Wayne Manor as a black 1864 Mustang was admitted through the gates. The car rolled upwards, its sleek frame coming to a halt in front of the manor, as the V8 inside ceased its rumbling. The driver's door swung open as a figure pulled himself out of the sports car.
His hair was coal black and hung neatly down to his shoulders, a pair of sunglasses hiding his eyes as he took in the visage of the mansion looming overhead. His neatly buttoned up shirt matched his hair, as he shut the car door. His button up shirt was the same hue as his hair, and mainly served to cover up the burns he had recently suffered in Bludhaven.
His mind has got to thinking over his watch in Bludhaven, and he found Gotham on his mind recently, the only family he had residing in this town. That and the rumor that Batman had gone was bugging him as of late. He had to see if the rumors were true or not. If it wasn't falsified, then what of Tim Drake. Surely Alfred still tended to things around here. Perhaps he could tell him what happened.
As Dick walked up to the front door, his concerns deepened. Where was Wayne if he was missing? Gotham had lost his hero and that didn't seem to bode well. It seemed as though he had arrived right on time. His doubt didn't seem to lessen as his knuckles rapped on the mansion door, his knocks getting progressively louder.

Simon looked out the side window as he was driving to his next location. He had been in Gotham a few days and he already had his first case, excluding the little episode in the diner when he had arrived. He had gotten the impression that this city was a dark and grim place to live in, but it was his job to make it a better place so that was what he wanted to do. Simon had ordered the car before he moved to Gotham. He didn’t want any of this American cars, he wanted a good comfortable car from Europe. Not too expensive so he would attract any attention. It was the new Audi A4, it was quite expensive to get the car all the way to America, but it was worth it.
Abigail was sitting next to him and looked at the given files on the case. They were to investigate the billionaire playboy, Bruce Wayne’s’ sudden disappearance. He had been missing for a while but the police didn’t seem to get any further, so the case was assigned to Simon, in hope that they would actually make some progress in this investigation.
They pulled up the small road leading up to the Wayne manor. Simon noticed that another car was already parked in front of the manor. He pulled up and parked behind the car, it was a typical American car. It was probably really noisy also, not the kind of car Simon would want. He stepped out of the car, his suit was sitting perfectly on his well trained body. It couldn’t be seen due to the suit, but it made him look good. His short curly hair gave him a certain charm, and his self confidence was high, due to his good looks. Simon towards the doorway and noticed a man standing at the door. He quickly reached for his inner pocket in his jacket and pulled out his badge. ''Excuse me sir?'' Simon was half shouting. He needed the attention of this man standing at the door. ''I’m Profiler Simon Sinclair from the Gotham PD and this is my assistant Abigail Fairweather. We are investigating the disappearing of a Bruce Wayne, do you have some time to talk?'' people showing up at the house should know something about Bruce, so hopefully this guy would know a thing or two.

It was a lot to take, there was so much information about Bruce Wayne and half of it was of no use. It was like is case file was just filled up with garbage to make it look like they have tried and investigate the matter. Of course Gotham Police had actually tried, at least of what she knew. Everything else would just be weird anyway. Perhaps it was just because she was rather naïve at times that she thought this, because the GPD often didn’t really do that much, perhaps because they were already busy or because they were corrupted. Either way she was not going to give up quickly, though she knew that the chances of finding him were small.
She looked up from the file, when the car stopped and shortly looked at Simon, before getting out of the car, with the file in her hand. She was dressed in her police uniform, looking dull as always and it was worse than normal, due to Simon walking beside her. Simon was far more well dressed, and actually looked like he cared for his looks, which was something you couldn’t say for Abigail. She found her badge when Simon did, and threw a little smile as showing it to the man. She wasn’t going to say anything at the moment, since she was more here to watch and learn, despite being more then eager to do something.

The rumor of Batman's disappearance had stretched far and wide, as Dick had even heard mention of it in Bludhaven while pursuing a major blackmarket syndicate. If this was truth, then it meant Gotham was falling into a state of chaos. As Dick's head turned to the side, the arrival of the Gotham PD only seem to confirm his suspicions as a second car came to a halt in front of the manor. An Audi or something like that just served to make it appear like the government was in on the missing Bruce Wayne. Dick, having been raised by Mr. Wayne, was hoping that the officers wouldn't connect the two disappearances of the masked vigilante known as the Batman and that of the millionaire Bruce Wayne.
Yet none of these concerns crossed across Dick's face, as he remained rather nonchalant, curiosity overtaking him, as his face broke into a half grin, his hands burying themselves in the pockets of his navy jeans. As the male officer walked up to him, Dick brought his right hand up to cover his ear, as the officer seemed to take his job seriously, his voice booming out at a high volume. What was this, an interrogation or something? Nonetheless, Dick brought down his hand as he shrugged off the man's unnecessary yelling, his eyes trialing over the badge as he greeted the man, his hand now held out in a handshake gesture. "Dick Grayson, former Bludhaven PD and adopted son of Bruce Wayne." Simon only confirmed it. Bruce Wayne was gone. "So it's true then, I heard rumors of Wayne vanishing, but I doubted it was true, considering the source." His eyes wavered back to the officer waiting in the car before returning his gaze back towards Simon. "Yeah, just give me a moment. It'd be better if we talked inside, I should have a spare key on me somewhere."
Dick rummaged through his pockets for a good minute, before pulling out a ring of keys, running through each one until he found the key to the manor. "There it is." Placing the key into the door, Dick pushed the door open cautiously. It wasn't unusual for unwanted individuals to be hanging around doorways, jumping one when they got the chance, it was just one of the things Wayne taught Dick. But this time, it seemed safe as the door creaked open, Dick turning around to face the Simon. "Well, shall we?" His head motioned towards Simon's partner in the car. "Your lady friend is welcome to join us as well."

As soon as the man made the gesture with his hand, Simon quickly returned the gesture with a strong handshake. This guy called him by the name of Wayne, this didn’t seem like a son or relative. They would most likely call him by his first name, so this guy had to be a friend. But he was of some reason adopted by Bruce Wayne, so they must have had a good relationship to one another. At least this, Dick Grayson, should have some information on Mr. Wayne. ''Pleased to meet you Mr. Grayson''
When Mr. Grayson said that he wanted to talk inside the enormous manor, Simon got pleased. This gave him a chance to snoop a little around in the building to see if he could find anything of any interest. Simon waved his left hand towards the door, making a friendly gesture signaling that Mr. Grayson should lead the way and he would follow. He quickly looked at Abigail next to him and nodded before he started following Mr. Grayson up the main door and waited for him to open the door. ''After you'' he put a big and friendly smile upon his face whenever he had eye contact with Mr. Grayson.
