Appearance: James is just over 5'8 tall and quite average build with only a slight muscle to his frame. His fairly short light hair is combed back and center parted, his face coated in stubble. He doesn't seem too bothered about his beard and in fact fond of it. James eyes are deep hazel and seem to exclude a crazed excitement. His pearly whites always showing in a warm but slightly creepy grin. James face is masculine and strong, quite attractive really and he loves it.
James favorite clothing is a lose sleeved velvet white button up shirt with 3/4 length sleeves, He wears a stiffened cotton dark green waistcoat over this and pair of green slightly bell bottomed trousers with very dark green leather shoes. giving his quite a classy look, if slightly out of place. In his breast pocket though is Beretta Laramie which is also the green of the coat.
James body is in perfect condition except for a single scar on his left forearm from a beating in his youth and a small second on his right calf from banging into his bed.
Personality:James is completely gone. There is no trace of caring for anyone except himself.He is completely ruthless, seeing people as nothing but toys.Things to use and abandon as he feels fit. The only ones he won't kill are people he considers fun or kindred spirits. Most of the well known villains such as the Joker or Scarecrow fill this criteria. He also has a weakness for pretty women, whom he sees more use for than his violent games. He is known to open his reserves of charm, to try and gain their attention.
James loves the color green, his sisters favorite and its become almost an obsession with the color. Everything to do with him is green, from his gun to his home. his shirt is one of the few exceptions for the sake of looking good. James is also very egotistical. Stroking his ego is often a way to survive his games if done right. He loves to look his best. Even his seemingly untidy beard is done to look more ruggedly handsome.
James hates to think of himself as evil and seems oblivious to how bad his actions are. He loves to make everything a challenge and to play with people, giving his victims a chance to fight but also tricking them or warping around to confuse and distress them, playing on their fear of death as much as possible before finishing them off. He likes to act friendly too, being as nice as he can and hiding his cruel intentions behind a kind facade. To him he sees it only as a bit off fun and treats it as such.

Background:James was born into a broken family, his father didn't want him and his mother didn't care so they dumped the child and his twin into an orphanage two days after they were born. The orphanage was very poorly run and the workers were known for beating the kids who misbehaved, or just when bored. this was not the ideal place for a child to grow up and he became emotionally dependent on his sister. Who was the only person to care for him. James was always rejected by the others at first because he was a bit quirky, barely leaving his sisters side. it wasn't a good place to be practically friendless and these first 9 years were hard for James.
At age 10 the thing that would completely break James and turn a nice if scared and dependent little boy into a cold selfish killer. The Manager of the Orphanage had got drunk and had chosen to beat on of the kids. It had been sally. James could do nothing as the mid fourties woman descended on the ten year old for no reason, shoving and slapping the child while shouting about it being a demon in human form. Then she shoved the little girl too hard and she fell, smashing her head on a table and dying on impact.This somewhat shattered James' brain, leaving him uncaring towards most of the world.
After that James relative coldness gave him the ability to start to get to know the other orphans quickly learning he could make people like him with ease. An unknown mutation in his brains genetic makeup made him almost impossible to refuse or dislike. He could get anyone too do what he wanted without much fuss, he could lead with no really problem and when he was older learned that getting companionship from women was pretty easy too. He also became a bit of a bit of a bully, abusing peoples emotions to break them, be it with fear or shame, or breaking hope. It gave him a rush.
Even later James left the orphanage to find the world as a whole was easy to play with. In his first Job in a post office James first read about an artifact that would unlock hidden abilities inside those with mutations. It was only then he realized why he was so charming. He had seen others fail with exactly the same words as won him trust. So he decided to steal this power gem and even if his hypothesis was wrong he could sell it. Charming his way inside the complex where the gem was held James had one of the guards physically hand him the gem, a feat he took great pride in. Upon touching the gem hidden teleportation skills activated, which for good reason terrified he guards. The rush pushed James to try and unlock more power. As he did so the posters and paper in the room began to move at his will, sharpening to the point where the whirlwind of paper was ripping the guards to pieces. Realizing this gem could create an army of people to stop him should it ever fall out of his hands James ground it to dust ensuring it could never be a weapon against him.
With his new power James attacked one of the workers he didn't like at work the next day, taunting him with death before killing him after giving him thousands of cuts all over his body. The thrill of this "game" was something James loved and after a string of pretty girlfriends all of who he used as target practice for his abilities he got very skilled with both his abilities and the "game." Eventually he decided with his skills he could get what ever he wanted and so began the life of the ace of Diemonds.

Powers/abilities: Beretta Laramie: The Ace's weapon of choice, he uses this to finish of the game or defend himself in a tight corner.
Paper manipulation: The ace can summon card and paper of varying sizes. from 7 foot by 4 foot by 2 inches thick the the size of playing card. He can move any paper in the area and he can sharpen any paper to a razor edge with only his mind. James tires at about average speed when using this. usually in about 10-20 mins if he doesn't go stupid. James can manipulate a maximum of eight pieces at once. The paper only takes a few seconds to be formed.
Teleportation: In a puff of black smoke The ace can teleport within a 30 foot area. James can teleport using not much energy, about the same as jogging at a fair speed the same distance.
Super Endurance: The Ace can exert himself for a long time, a fair amount longer than a normal person. Though no where near super level. he can exert himself for 20-30 mins straight without worry
Charming words: No matter what Ace says its always more charming that it should be. He is almost impossible to dislike, He oozes a special type of smell instead of sweat that confuses the senses and allows James to seem like your best Friend. He could charm the birds from the trees. Because this is a natural ability resistance by immunity to toxins and pheromones are practically useless. this simply makes James seem much nicer, sexier and more charming. Strong willed individuals may be able to resist this if they know when to resist. James can charm only a few people into being practically under his will at the very most five, and this wears of fairly quickly only giving a few mins use. He can charm around a roomful of people into liking him though.
Strengths:A teleporter so hard to track, a trickster so hard to guess what he will do or where he is at anytime you can't see him, quite agile, charming, hard to see through, calm under pressure.
Weaknesses: Weak, if beaten in the game he will not kill you, tied to luck, if anything stops him killing he won't try again. In melee combat is very easily beaten.
