Appearance:
In public, his appearance is very clean shaven and well kept, and always wearing designer suits or tuxedos. His smile could charm skirts off and his shoulders broad and strong. He stands at a towering 6’4”. Under the designer suits is that of a bitter grim man whose body has been pushed to the brink, covered in scars and usually healing from a wound of some nature.
Out in the night, when he wears his true face, he wears a black body suit, stealth blue boots, stealth blue cowl and cape. The dull gold of his utility belt tends not to shine, for the obvious reasons of stealth and element of surprise. The only target he marks himself with is the bat emblem on his chest, the heaviest armor place on his body.
Though, Bruce does look different these days. He has not been in Gotham for some time, but those details will come around later. His hair is long and his eyes now wild…
Personality:
In public, Bruce Wayne is the model citizen, all the men want to be him and all the women want to date him. he is charming, and witty in social circles, and professional in the board room. He is liked by most everyone. Certain entities and politicians mark him as an irresponsible and uncaring playboy, however his generosity toward the city of Gotham does not go unnoticed by those willing to look past his jet setting lifestyle. As The Batman, he is a cold, tactical, foreboding presence who can chill a room upon entering it. He makes criminals fear the shadows themselves. He is unrelenting in getting the information he needs. He rarely exhibits pity on the wicked.
Family:
He survives both his parents, Thomas & Martha Wayne. His butler , Alfred Pennyworth, Dick Grayson, Tim Drake are considered to him to be family, though he is not the kind that assures the of this, they are his family because they accept it without Bruce having to say it. He has a son, Damien Wayne.
Background:
Bruce Wayne was born into a family of wealth and prosperity in Gotham City. His father, Thomas Wayne was a doctor and entrepreneur in many various fields massing a large business empire and a larger mountain of wealth and resources. His mother was Martha Wayne, a lovely woman who helped the family grow through social circles in the city and all over the world.
One night after seeing the film, the Mark of Zorro, Bruce's favorite hero. He walked with his parents, when they were attacked by a mugger, Joe Chill. Bruce watched his family, his world, crumble before him in the form of 2 gunshots, each killing his parents. His beloved mother’s pearls strung about the ground and pool of blood that formed around their lifeless bodies.
He was placed under the care of the Wayne family butler, Alfred Pennyworth, a former combat medic, mechanic, and operative for the British. As he grew, Bruce vowed revenge upon the death of his parents and to ensure nothing such as this would happen again. He trained and studied abroad after getting his Bachelors Degree in Business forging himself into one of the world's foremost detectives tacticians, and fighters in existence for nearly a decade. He trounced around all the continents absorbing their varying cultures, survival methods, anthropological values, battlefield tactics, and nonlethal tactics. The rest of the world believed he was just living a jet set playboy lifestyle, but in reality he was learning the world as best he could.
When Bruce finally did return, his faithful butler was ready for him, a bit taken aback by the change in Bruce’s will as well as personality. He had always been distraught since the death of his parents, but Alfred had never seen the man so serious. He was constantly bombarded by reporters, wealthy Gothamites, and beautiful women since his return. Everyone wanted a piece of Bruce Wayne, it didn’t take long for him to be characterized in local media as an uncaring playboy, however Wayne Enterprises had continued donation and social aid to the city during his leave. Many claimed money wasn’t enough, all the while Bruce was attempting to make a difference in the shadows of the city. He was sloppy, going out in makeup to disguise himself in questionable neighborhoods and pick fights with those he perceived the threat. There was more to everything in Gotham, that’s just how it had gotten. Attack the John then the hooker will stab you for loosing a client, etc.
One fateful evening as he pondered his new life, he sat in the dark of his study, Bruce felt overwhelmed and defeated. He knew he wasn’t going about all this right and he was missing something. In the height of his frustartion a window shattered from a bat flying through it and it perched upon a bust sculpture of his father. Finally, it dawned on him. To make a difference he needed to be a symbol. The bat, a creature most think as terrifying and dangerous. In truth, there were things in the world more dangerous than bats, however it was perfect. Gotham needed something for the criminals to fear and the people to be spreading the word about. Eventually Bruce, with Alfred’s help, would discover a cave system under the house. He would work to build what he needed, eventually acquiring the expertise and help from Lucius Fox in Wayne’s Research and Development department. Combining technology, his own intelligence and prowess, and the image, the symbol of the Bat would create the trademark Batman of today.
Over the years he has fought the crime of Gotham as the Batman and gathered alliances with other heroes, although ultimately he prefers to work alone. He is a hard man, but a harder man to get close to. It is speculated his rise has inadvertently caused the rise of his uncanny enemies. Among Gothamites it is referred to as the batscalation theory, however, to this day, many don’t believe he exists. It is a common conspiracy theory in the city that Batman is just some story made up by the police to cover up their own brutality and to avoid having to use warrants. Most people in Gotham just can’t help but feel at least somewhat safer as they sleep knowing he is out there. Today, Bruce is a bit of a veteran, but still fit and ready to do what is necessary to protect the people of Gotham as well as its soul.

It houses a custom built V8 engine with 500 horsepower, high performance frame and a light steel armor with a thin coat of diamond for hardening. It has a computer interface that has a direct uplink with the Bat Computer and contains state of the art cyberwarfare programs, with a little help from Oracle. It can also be loaded with a bullet if necessary. The only bullet Batman carries is one made of Kryptonite housed in a lead lined area of the utility belt.
Zip Line- A great device that allows travel horizontally. It can allow for safe travel across a street to another building at a higher level. Also very fast and effective in startling enemies and takeing them by surprise.

In the background the sound of faint engines of his jet was heard as he read the data on his current case against the H.I.V.E.'s (Hierarchy of International Vengeance and Extermination) operation within Gotham. An operation he succeeded in bringing down, but the job wasn't finished yet. The Queen still had control, and it was his intent to dishevel the organization where it would take years to rebuild. The HQ was located in eastern Asia, and area he knew intimately.
The clacking of his keyboard brought up schematics he acquired from their Gotham base. As he read the data, he planned his approach and attack when his alert went off from the autopilot. He took control of the plane and spotted two bogeys coming in at him. They were H.I.V.E. craft sent to intercept.
"Damn."
He thought to himself that someone must have escaped him and alerted the Head Hive, and he came expected. He flew evasive maneuvers to avoid them from shooting at him. His engines were designed to put out minimal heat avoiding most heat seeking missile fire. The gunfire from the ships deflected off the advanced casing armor of the Batplane as he flew in a wide turn to engage. he pulled in behind one of the ships and fired taking out it's engine but enabled the pilot to eject. Just as he flew through the fire and smoke of the ship his eyes widened as the other was on a fast collision course. he dove down, then everything went dead.
The plane's display went black, its engines shut down and he was free falling. He growled and tried the backup power. It failed. he knew what it was. They shot an EMP at him and he was going down like a rock. He tried to open the cockpit to bail when the H.I.V.E. ship came into view. He saw the missile fire, and threw open the hatch just as it struck the Batplane and decimated it. The shock wave threw him and knocked him out, shrapnel ripping through him just as he pulled the cord. He fell into the frigid cold snow of the Tibetian mountains striking hard stone as his limp body settled.
Several days later he was found and taken to the nearby temple. The men who found him dragged him in and laid him before the fiery brazier as the figure they bowed to stood and walked to him. His uniform was tattered, his mask half ripped off as The Demon's Head gazed at him.
"So. The Detective has come."
