Appearance: Minou is not the typical teenager, due to the fact that she is only half human, at least of looks. She looks like a human cat. Not only is she covered with fur, but also has cat ears, tail and face. She has claw like nails that don’t break, feet with an extra joint and have both digital pads and metacarpal pad on feet and hands. Despite the cat like features her body has the same shape as a human’s from ankles to neck. She even has great shapes underlining the fact that she is female. Her face also has more or less human shape, but owns a snout instead of a nose, and her eyes a cat like shaped with long pupils. Lastly she even has the predator like sharp canine teeth.
She is about 5’5 feet tall, and has a grey striped fur, and half long black human hair.
Her normal clothing is usually baggie-pants, so she can hide her tail and either a hoodie, or something with a big hood on to hide her face. Turtle necks are also preferred and long sleeves, so that all her fur and cat features are hidden. Usually she uses gloves as well, and only really spend time out at night, so less questions will be asked. Her shoes/boots tend to be a very large looking, in a way that make her feel look small, so that she can be sure that the shoes fit.
Personality: Minou isn’t that great with people, not because she hate them or anything like that, she is just not used to them. She would love to get in contact with other people, but she doubts that her looks will be overseen. Nonetheless she still eagerly tries to help people. Actually she has a hard time keep herself from helping other people. It is almost a compulsion, which at times is very unpractical.
She is very caring and usually happy most of the time, despite having this heavy feeling of sadness inside of her. She finds the world depressing, and can’t really understand how everything can be so dark. But she never feels angry and probably never has felt that way. She has some lacking understanding of the world, which makes her rather odd at times, since something’s doesn’t make sense to her. Like she doesn’t understand why people keep killing and beating each other up. But it also makes her more curious than she normal is. And she is very curious.

Background:
Minou’s story begins before she was born, when she was still in her mother’s womb.
Her mother was a scientist named Emily Petit, which carrier never became anything. Her ideas were thought crazy and impossible, so no one would sponsor her project. Her greatest idea was to create a superhuman, by altering the fetus while still inside the mother. She had spent numerous months on this project, but still no one would help. In despair and intoxication she got a mad idea; What if she just made herself the lab-rat. And so she did. She got pregnant and soon after started the project. At first she was alone, but when the fetus starts to show change in its genetics she found others willing to join in. The project was kept a secret, and it was probably a good idea. Because when she was to deliver the child an inconsistency, a flaw, showed. The project had only little human appearance, a human form. The rest of it looked like some kind of animal, furry, with a tail and animal ears.
It was thought that the project had failed, and most of the research was shot down. But months later the projected showed great capacity for learning and only after few months the project were able to walk. After this new discovery Emilie’s hope for her research became high again. She started testing, and results were more than what she could hope for. The project was not ruined completely. These new results quickly drew people back into the project, and with the origin of the child hidden, it quickly became more than a secret project. Sponsors joined in, in the search of the possibility of a superhuman.
From there on the child was named project one, and became the start of a great idea which had shown to be possible.
The childhood of project was not one of a normal child, as the project never was seen as a child by most, but as an object. Therefore little human contact beside when being tested and taught was given. At first the project was often around people, as it had much to learn, but as its abilities to learn and remember showed the less contact was given. It became a computer learning It the ideal of how a human should be, and what was right and wrong. Later the same computer was to teach the project linguistic, fighting and as the computer was switched with an A.I it became the root to everything the project would learn. As months went by, less and less human contact was made, and only when tests’ had to be made and on other rare occasion did the subject feel a human close.
In Its later years another flaw showed in the subject, it would lose control over its emotions, hallucinate, get muscle cramps and be in loads of pain. The reason why this happened showed to be the projects own system started to attack the mutated cells. It made it look grim for the project, as it was slowly getting killed form inside, from its own super effective system. The scientist had to work fast to find a cure. And they thought they had found it, but was later to realize that the subjects system was working to fast. Though not mutating so it would get immune to the cure, it would fight back the effect of the medicine. The subject would therefore often have to be medicated for this condition, to stay alive.
The Project never protested against its way of living, and seemed to have no opinion on its way of living. It also showed a great ability to adapt any environment it was be put in. It was being seen as a huge progress in the search for the perfect human, and it was therefore estimated that they were ready for making project two. Project one was therefore declared useless and should be gotten rid of. The last samples were collected and the day before the ending of project one, an explosion ruined half the research facility. Several masked men broke into the place, and helped project one escape. After that the rest of the facility was blown to smithereens, and claimed the life of her unknown mother, and destroyed all information about project one and its existence.
Project one fled from the remaining ruins, and quickly found the world confusing and illogical, and also very dangerous. The cat like appearance caused great trouble and made put a hunt on her. It was difficult for her to travel or do anything else. Soon after she found herself in dire need of food and water, but the greatest of her problems was when the effect of her untreated condition kicked in. It seemed that it would be the end of her life, as she passed out in an ally, but clearly someone was not going to let that happen. The next time Project one woke she was in a bed in a small apartment. Phone was left for her with an incoming message welcoming Project one to Gotham City.

• She can see in darkness, far better than any human. Darkness is not a hindrance for her, as long as it is not complete darkness.
• All cats love her for no reason, just the mere fact that she exist is reason enough for them to like her. Cats also support her if they can, as if they can understand what she says to them. And as long as it doesn’t go against the cats nature, if will most of the time do whatever required of her.
• The mutation gave her some powers like exceptional balance, cat like grace, speed, greater senses, flexibility, good reflexes and the ability to always land on her feet.
• The longs years of captive and training, have made her an extraordinary fighter, and combined with her strength she is a dangerous weapon, hidden in an innocent looking body. She has not one fighting style but several.
• Immune to poison and “immune to disease”. Her immune system is immune to every disease that is not a virus, since virus’ keep developing. They can still make her sick, but for a far shorter period than a normal person. Everything other than virus’ she have no problem with and the same goes for poison.

• Good with linguistic and knows several languages’
Weaknesses:
• Side effect. The drug used on her had a side effect, that once in a while shows up, in form of her starting to hallucinate, loosing gasp of what is real and what is not, her wild animal instinct kicks in and she becomes aggressive, she feel pain, get puts her though a ton of emotions at once, and her muscle cramps.

• Appearance. Can’t go unnoticed in public. Can’t use normal public help. Can’t earn money.
