Appearance: Rawhide stands at a good 7.2 feet, his weight around a 260 pounds. His considerable bulk, muscular and rough, originates quite obviously from regular exercise, but also from nature’s hand. His body bears sign of quite a bit of mutilation, big scars covering his body and face which he explains from his time in the war, a war he never was in that is.
Rawhide has two different sets of style when it comes to clothes. Either his is in his relaxing clothes which can be nearly anything since he is quite skilled at disguises. And then, then there are Rawhide’s artistic clothes, his work clothes. Rawhide work clothes consists mostly a leather apron, seemingly self-made, as well as long gauntlets reaching past his elbows, working pants and heavy workers boots. Beside that, Rawhide wears a full facial mask looking like an executioners hood. As a finishing touch, long, thick nails are hammered into his shoulder’s flesh.
Personality: Rawhide is cold, cynic and methodical. He is the kind of man who does not, under any circumstance, understand the value of life or emotions like happiness and love. What Rawhide does know, is how to act like he understands and how to fake emotions. He is extremely careful by nature, and somehow feels neither emotional stress nor pressure from his double life.
Rawhide is nearly always calm and collected, never really rushing anything too much, since he is aware that if he does, he’ll be caught. Rawhide feels no fear, nor happiness. He doesn’t comprehend most human emotions even though he finds a small pleasure in making everyone believe that he does.
What can really make Rawhide tick, what revs his engine and make him loose his cool, is pain, either his own or others, blood, also his own or others and to some degree, the conclusion of a life. He takes no huge pleasure from death, but the foreplay and the work he does afterwards is what he enjoys. He also loves to play games with the cops and heroes, but doesn’t desire direct confrontation since what is the intellectual fun in that?

Background: Todd Donaldson was born on Gotham. But he was born lacking. Not something physical, he was a healthy child, strong even. What he was lacking was an understanding of humans and emotions. This slowly became more and more evident as he grew up, and animals and peoples pet’s started to vanish. Todd’s parents brought him to a lot of doctors, therapists, specialists and much more. None of it helped, until Todd met Doctor Hugo Strange. Hugo instantly fascinated Todd, and Todd instantly fascinated Hugo. They were like mentor and student, Todd sucked up all Hugo taught him about the world, himself, and how he could use his urges without getting caught.
This continued for five years, until Todd was 15 years. Then Doctor Hugo Strange decided that Todd had learned enough, and he was released from his mentor. So Todd continued a quiet life at the top of his class in all fields, he was brilliant after all. Todd’s first kill, his first victim, was his girlfriend. He made a crude pair of gloves from her skin, not good ones as they fairly quickly crumpled. So apart from School, Todd studied the work of a tanner and the art of creating wares of leather.
Todd slowly got better and better at killing and tanning and stealthier as well. At the age of 17, Todd had ended his parents and made them into a most beautiful blanket. After a year of living alone, Todd got bored though. So he decided to get a wife and earn some money. The money was easy to earn as Todd got a job at a bank, rigging the system so some cents would be removed from every transaction, not enough for anyone to miss though. But if you consider the amount of people and transactions going on a year it all stacks up rather nicely. The fact that he found a beautiful wife was a good bonus too.
With his little family and new alibi as a cover, it had become quite easy to commit his crimes. By the time he had his daughter, he had decided to do official murders instead of the quiet ones, taunting the police with letters and riddles. At some point, Todd was blessed with a daughter, even though her mother died in at childbirth, leaving Todd to take care of the child, which, in all honesty, was something Todd wasn’t too concerned about.

Powers/abilities:
Rawhide posses an incredible resilience to damage. Probably because of the amount of punishment and torture he inflict on his own body. He is able to nearly shrug off bullet-wounds as mere nicks at his flesh and stabbing him won’t do people much good either.
Rawhide is also, due to quite a lot of training as well as a gift from nature, capable of lifting a car and actually throw it around 20 feet at max. His impressive physique also allow him to bend metal, smash doors with his bare hands and snap a man's bones like twigs.
Apart from that, he has no special powers except his acting abilities that are frighteningly good and his very high IQ, Hannibal Lecter would be, more or less, his equal.
Strengths: Well, apart from what has been mentioned, Rawhide is also quite skilled with sharp as well as blunt weapons. He can also make weapons out of nearly anything around him. He is a skilled Tanner and Skinner and is able to make things out of leather easily. What he don’t mention is that most of the leather he uses, and all that he wears, is from the kind of animals that like to drive around cars, spend money and live in apartments.
Weaknesses: Rawhide can be killed, it is all a matter of how much you try. He can be burned, drowned, all the stuff a normal man can. He is just quite resilient.
