She feel, and only got to open her eyes shortly before she collided with the ground. And at that moment she couldn’t breathe though she tried to. It felt like someone had pinned her to the ground, making it impossible for her to do anything. But she could give up, and her struggle finally paid off and she caught the sweet air. She rolled to the side, and grabbed a hold of her throat, to make sure she could protect it, meanwhile coughing. But she fought her way back on her feet, glancing upon her surroundings.
She was standing in the middle of a big field covered in a thick mist, making the horizon become very blurry. The grass was almost grey, and made crackling sound whenever she moved. Not far from where stood a dead three, and…? Automatically Liadain stepped back, starring at the person? She didn’t feel safe at all, and she tried to squeeze her teddy closer, but only to find it missing. In dismay she looked down trying to find her lost friend, but no matter where she looked it wasn’t there. Well not until person how had been standing in front of the dead tree slowly stepped closer, reaching forth an arm, holding her teddy around its neck. But she didn’t dare to step closer, despite that she wanted her teddy more than she could describe. One step, two steps, more coming to keep a safe distance from that creature that was smiling at her, no not smiling or perhaps it did? Liadain couldn’t see its face, but she knew that it was starring at her, with something unpleasant going on in its head. Not waiting to see what it had it had in mind she turned and started to run as fast as possible, making her heart suddenly catch up with the fear, racing loudly in her chest, tightening, making her breathing shallow and irregular. Desperately she didn’t stop though, fearing for her life, she just kept on running not looking back. What did he want from her, what had she done? No she didn’t want to know, she just wanted to get away, securing herself. But before she could do anything, her body forced her to stop, making her legs crumpled under her, as her chest tightened in an unbearable pain. Again she was on the ground, now gasping for air sounding like a fish on dry land, and feeling like one as well. Everything blackened and everything became so very silent.
* “Lia!” she yelled while shaking her, to get her to look at her. “Stay with me!” a hand got hold of her jaw and shocked it. “Don’t le……” * In an instant her eyes opened, her eyes getting greeted by the color green, and then the smell of moss hit her. She laid still for a while, just gazing upon the green ground that she laid upon, not feeling like she wanted to move. It was peaceful. No one was after her, no one was yelling at her, she was just laying alone on the ground. Then she was reminded why she was here, as her chest started to bother her.
