Poison Ivy's barefeet touched down on the stone walkway of the sewer. She stepped away from the ladder and looked up at the manhole cover the she replaced. The beams from the streetlights reached through the holes of the cover and lit her face.
She turned to look down the hallway and clicked on her flashlight. It was pretty quiet and smelled like....sewer. Bleh.
She walked down the path in search of a fungus growing down in the sewers that contains a special illuminatory property when combined with a special species of plant cells. Dr. Isley intended to college the fungus and take care of it to grow to full potential. When it did she could mix properties and would never have to use this flashlight again. She was growing tired of shaking the eco-friendly flashlight to keep its power running. And then, she could also sell the luminous plant to the highest bidder to make money for her next green venture.
The various fungi that were growing in the sewers were directing her to the specific plant. She had several turns through the tunnels left.

Croc chewed down on the leg of a butchered cow. This was the last meat that was left from his lucky haul, and he'd have to go hunting again soon. Fine. Would give him something meaningful to do apart from sleeping and waddling about. Then again, he did get a lot of 'unexpected visitors' as of late.
He looked up slowly. Eyes blinking. Nostrils flaring. Brain working overtime. Poison Ivy.
During his life, Waylon had stumbled upon some strange and exotic scents. The truly powerful ones could leave him stunned for minutes. But there was one he'd never forgot. No matter how hard he tried, no matter how many perfume bottles he'd ever drown himself in, he could never forget Ivy. Met her first time in prison. Very... Reasonable person. Worth remembering.
He knew it was her way before he saw the cone of light, emitting from around the corner. Throwing the leg into the waters, he stood up and waited. Just standing there, waiting for that blazing figure to reveal itself.

Ivy turned the corner and saw a very tall, very large creature standing a distance away. Her body jumped and shuttered, startled by the presence with her in the sewer.
She automatically assumed it was Batman, somehow, and the vines around her wrists began to grow in self-defense.
Upon looking a bit longer, and the fact that the creature wasn't charging at her, nor throwing some animal shaped blade at her, her mind processed it couldn't be the costumed man. Besides, the creature in front of her was far too large, and not covered in black fabric.
She narrowed her eyes, focusing on the man, and then instantly recognizing the figure.
"Oh. Hello Waylon." She began to walk towards him, "It's been a while."

He didn't react when she got startled and jumped on the spot. He had kinda expected that reaction. Hey, who says a simple man can't enjoy the little things? Making people twitch was a prank that never got old in his book.
As she got closer he leaned forward, resting his weight in his knuckles, to level his head with hers. Much easyer to have a conversation this way. Although the vague illuminance from the flashlight gave him some rather omnious shadows around his face, he seemed pleased enough to see her. He grinned slightly.
"Hey Pamela. It's been a while" he said with a strange mixture of genuine joy and distrust. He hadn't seen her since the Arkham incident. Things had changed since then. They always do. "You, uh. You look good" he grunted, eyeing her up and down. Okay, some things never change.

Meeting Killer Croc in the sewers was actually not that surprising, she was a bit embarassedthat she was as shocked aas she was when she saw him. At least it was him and not the Batman.
"Hello Waylan, it's good to see you." she gave a warm smirk. "Thank you." Ivy accepted the compliment.
"And how are things going for you down here?" Her mind flashed back to the incidents that occurred when they were both at Arkham. It was good to see him, especially if he could lead her to the fungi.
